Liar game season 2 + Movies

WARNING: LONG POST IS LONG.

I know I wrote an entry about Liar Game season 1 yesterday.. But today I will write more about Liar Game, gomenasai! I decided to write it while my memory of it is fresh.

Well, I've just finished watching both Season 2 and the movie Liar Game: The Final Stage. Now, I may sound a little obsessed since I watched season 1, season 2 and the movie in like 4 days or so.. But lemme tell ya..! ..Err ok, I was simply obsessed.

In season 2, we get trolled and mindfucked even more than earlier, we learn that Nao never learns from her mistakes, and Akiyama is still as protective of Nao as always.
I really enjoyed the second season as well and just like the first season, I just couldn't stop watching! (Just ask Dongsaeng..). With this said, in my opinion season 1 was still a tad better and more exciting. I don't know if it was because it was all new then or something like that. I did feel though that some of the games in season 2 didn't give me the same feel of desperation, anxiousty and excitement as the first season games. I thought about why for a while, and I think I may have come up with a conclusion to why. I felt that in the first season, the games evolved more around the money you have. For example, in the resurrection game (err.. I think it was called something like that), Akiyama came to Nao's rescue and helped her get more votes through manipulating people using money and money only.
Anyway, my point is.. I felt that the first season evolved more around how you use your money to manipulate others, and to win yourself. The second season felt more like.. You have to win the games (russian roulette, 17 poker etc) to get the money. But then, there weren't really anything more to it, the one who won the most money simply won. There were not much of bribing or manipulating people with money as before. I DO though think that this may be because of character developement on Akiyamas side. Won't get any deeper into that right now tho.
Anyway, the point of Liar Game is obviously to lie to get where you want (...or.. IS IT ;)), and this remained also in season 2 so I can get over the fact that the money weren't used in the same way. I can just tell ya.. There aint no pure luck in who wins the games. No luck at all. Ya gotta have the brains, people!

Moving on to the movie. The movie picked up where season 2 left off, and the movie evolves around the last stage of Liar Game. Akiyama and Nao wants to put an end to this horrible game, and to win the whole game may be the only way to stop it.
I actually liked the last game (this movie evolved only around this last game) quite a lot! At first it seemed like they couldn't do much to win than to ally with others, but it turned out I was wrong. Many players, especially Akiyama obviously, finds many different ways to make the other players lose that I would never ever have thought of.
This movie also has troll over troll over troll over troll. But yeah, that's what Troll Ga- err, I mean Liar Game is all about.
The end of the movie was pretty nice in my opinion. It was kind of heart-warming and sweet, but I just kind of wanted to know a liiiittle bit more of what happened after the end of the game. After the credits, there was another little scene in the end though. Nao gets another black letter in her mailbox (Liar Game always sends invitations or other information using black letters) so she gets really nervous (me too! :C). But when she opens it, it turns out it is not sent from the Liar Game office, but it contains like, a 1000-yen bill? And a letter. I suppose maybe from Akiyama? Why do I suppose and not know? BECAUSE THE TRANSLATORS DIDN'T TRANSLATE WHAT THE HECK WAS WRITTEN IN THE LETTER T__T *sob*. All I could read out of it was an "arigatou", but there was a sentence before that, that I still have no idea what it said. And IF it is from Akiyama, that means they no longer meet in person, right? But do they keep contact? It sounded like they were going to, before the end credits started to roll.. I have no idea. I've just gotta find out what that letter meant. -_-
I googled it and found out what the letter said! :'D It was not from Akiyama though so we will probably see no more developement on if they still meet each others etc, but it was from someone else, I'm not going to explain it because this entry is already too long, but it's really sweet anyway :')

And one last thing I'll write about in this post that no one will wanna read cuz it's effin long: There is ANOTHER Liar Game movie coming up in 2012. Yay? I don't know..
The Liar Game series has so far evolved all around Akiyama and Nao, them helping each others, them being the only one the other can trust, them needing the other one to win the Liar Game.. Yeah! Woo! I loved this duo, they were really different, yet they- WHAAA THEY ARE CHANGING THE HEROINE FOR THIS MOVIE?
Yeah, Nao will no longer be in the movie. Akiyama will not help Nao in this movie as he has done so far in the series, but there will now be a new female protagonist whom Akiyama is going to help, for a reason yet unknown.
NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, it won't be the same without Nao! Th-that's like you would replace one of the Team Rocket members or something! (Bad example is bad 8D)
Even though it was Nao's actor who didn't want/couldn't be in the movie or not, I don't know.. But if she could.. they shoulda used her again right? So did they use another heroine just because she couldn't/didn't want to? In that case, just to make money on the popularity this awesome series, right? :|  Meh, I don't know.
Well, I just strongly dislike removing one person from a duo that you have really started to take a deep liking to, and more or less replacing them with another person. Even though she isn't litterally going to replace Nao, it's pretty obvious that she and Akiyama will work together so she will kind of be in the same spot as Nao..

Okay, I could write about this series for twice as long as I did, but I won't. No one would read it. (I think this entry is far too long as well though lol..)

Season 2: 8,5/10
Movie: 8,7/10
(YES I LIKE DECIMALS, PROBLEM?)

Liar Game

Hey everyone.
So, I just finished the most exciting J-Drama I've ever watched! It feels weird calling it a drama since I immediately think of romance and emotions and such, but this drama isn't like that at all. But I'll just stick with calling it a drama for now.

So, the genre can be called psychological thriller, and the feeling I get out of the drama is kind of a mix between Saw and Death Note, lol. Just without the goreish killings and without shinigamis.
Nah, but really, it's a very exciting drama and I just couldn't stop watching! As you can tell from the name, it's all about this game called Liar Game. I won't tell you much about the plot because I suck at that, but basically the game mostly has one basic rule: Steal the money from the opponents, and keep yours safe. If you lose your money, you will be in debt to the Liar Game company-thingy. And we're not talking about 1000 yen or something here, no. The least amount given in the games has so far been 100 million yen. That's a lot of debt if you lose them all to the opponents, if you ask me.

The main characters in this series decides to help each others for various reasons that you will learn by watching the drama. It starts with this girl who is the most easy-manipulated human being on planet earth, who gets together with a guy who just got released from prison and whom is only capable of making one facial expression.
LOL sorry, I just had to hahah. Anyway I actually really like these characters so don't get fooled by how I describe them (even though it's pretty much accurate). They are pretty much the opposite of each others, but that makes it all even more interesting! And wow, Akiyama (err, I think that was his name at least.. sorry if it's wrong) is like, REALLY SMART. And THAT, lemme tell ya, is something you have to be to win Liar Game.
I really got amazed by the writers over and over and over. Not only is the concept really cool and exciting, but the thoughts behind each and every single game. The players come up with ridiculous (in a good way) strategies that makes you go "how the heck did he think of that?!" many times over and over. You can never relax watching this drama, cuz it's.. it's just effin dramatic! D:

Anyway, I have basically no complaints about this actually. Except for the fact that they use a friggin Jigsaw (Saw) ripoff to announce the games and close to the end of the series they introduce a Near (Death Note) reincarnation, just a bit more creepy and not quite as childish.. Just almost. (Hmm, so THIS is why this drama made me feel a Saw and Death Note vibe eh?)
Nah, but actually this didn't really matter to me once I got over it, at all. The rest of the dramas awesomeness totally overshined my small and personal complaints!
There was one thing though that I THOUGHT was going to be a complaint of mine, but it always turned out not to be. There popped up many questions in my head like "aww come on, is that even allowed?" and "that isn't possible right??" or "how can they do that?!" etc. But as usual, I got amazed by the series, because I actually think it managed to pretty much answer every single question that my brain raised. And the answers were always ameeeehhzing!

Anyway, enough with me praising and praising. This is not a drama for everyone, I know that. If you're the kind that only likes lovey-dovey dramas, well, this may not be something for you. Otherwise.. try watching it! If you don't get stuck already at episode 1, then I don't even know! :@
Oh, and just one thing: If you're planning to watch this drama, make sure you bring your brain. You're gonna need it to handle all the mindfucks, lol.

Soon to debut: B.A.P

Hello guiiise!
As Dongsaeng said, we have been bad at updating.. Sorry~
Anyway, right now I am following the progress of a soon-to debut group called B.A.P (under TS Entertainment). If you are interested in k-pop news and such, you might have heard of them. They are very anticipated from not only me but many other people! I was already a fan of one of the members, Bang YongGuk, before I even knew that he was going to be in a boy group. So yeah, after I heard about that, I really wanted to follow the progress of the group!
Even though the name B.A.P is a bit ridiculous imo (and it also means 'rice'..), I think this group will be successful! The members seem to have cool, fun, sweet, weird and likeable personalities which is always a big plus! How do I know they do? Well, there is currently airing a reality show about B.A.P called TA-DAH it's B.A.P! First episode is out w/ subs, check it out if you're interested!

We have actually posted videos of Bang YongGuk's (and maybe even the Bang&Zelo-vid, with Zelo being another member of B.A.P) before so make sure to check them out through the categories on the right!

FIX

여러분, 안녕하세요! [yeoreobun annyeonghaseyo!]
Since it's been a while since the last post from us, I thought I could update with something for you! =)

Have you heard of the new group FIX? They debuted around 5th of January this year (YOSEOB BIRTHDAY HAAAYYAA! 8D ㅋㅋ) FIX is a group under Groove Entertainment and consists of four members; Nuri, Oh Song, Jungwook and Sungwoo. (FYI; Jungwook is apparently Ryeowook's (of SuJu) cousin or something like that. But I bet you already knew if you already know FIX ;-))

From what I have seen from this greeting video, I have to say that I LOVE Oh Song's personality. <3 So full of energy hehe

They seem to be awesome right? =)

Haha, actually it was so random that I discovered them in the first place.. Don't remember how I found them, the only thing that I remember is that I found them the day before their debut LOL.

This song.. really daebak! <3 I fell in love with it right away even though I only heard the teaser of it the first time.. HEHE. Can't wait for the full MV!

FIX is one of the new groups that I will follow this year. Or well, that's what I have decided lol. And then of course the new groups from YGE (I'm more or less a YGStan so this really is a MUST!). And B.A.P. <3 Hm.. can't come up with more but 2012 is sure gonna be full of new rookies! Which groups are you looking forward to? ^^

Don't have much more to say right now, but I hope this post is enough for you! Sorry for disappointing you with our bad updates ㅋㅋ..

Have a nice.. evening! =) c u~

Japanese food (Youtube channel)

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the bad updating lately. Christmas times.. New Year.. Yeah. I'll put the blame on that!
Anyway, today I want to share a Youtube channel with you guys who may be interested in cooking Japanese food! As you may know, I was in japan not too long ago and I loved pretty much all the food I tasted there. So yummy!
One thing I should mention though is that if you want to do these recepies, you most probably need to have a grocery store near you that sells Japanese grocery, because he obviously uses a lot of Japanese stuff for his Japanese food.

Here is a video of him making Dango!

..and the very popular Onigiri (Rice Balls):

But there are also more food-ish recepies, like..

Sukiyaki!

Japanese recepies are a bit (much..) more complicated than foods I eat in my country, but if I have the time and energy one day, I will go visit an Asian grocery store and try to find the ingredients for a Japanese dish!

Man, watching these videos are making me hungry! T_T

Happy New Year!

Hi there! Just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year! May 2012 be a successful, great year for all k-popers! K-POP to the WORLD! ~ㅋㅋㅋ.

So these three last days before 2011 ended, there were a lot of performances going on. WARNING LONG POST! I'm serious.. There'll be a lot of.. Video spamming. HEHE.

On the 29th of December; SBS Gayo Daejun Show. I didn't watch this live since I couldn't.. I was sitting on a train, heading back home so I didn't even know of all this going on. :c But I watched the performances afterwards! Here are some of the awesome performances; Be aware that I picked out my favourites,ㅋㅋㅋ.

2NE1

As usual, the girls was ON FIRE!

BEAST

The intro was EPIC! And I loved the remix of Fiction.. <3 But when seeing them on scene, my heart fell and broke apart since GiKwang couldn't perform with them..

f(x) & FT ISLAND

This one was very entertaining! Couldn't hold myself back lol D:

IU & Yoseob (B2ST)

This performance was really cute. And the collaborate.. <3 (No I'm not shipping, I just mean the combo of their voices)

30th of December, DAY#2: KBS Gayo Daejun Show.

INFINITE

I really enjoy watching them perform. They are like.. almost the only group with a synced dance performance.

UKISS

VAMPIRES, AAAHH!! kkk. I really enjoyed of how they had put their performance this time. Ofcourse I loved the performance that they did @ the SBS, but this was.. different?

BEAST SPECIAL PERFORMANCE

I only share this because I spazzed like a fangirl whilst watching this one. JunHyung is SINGING!! And Yoseob's wink at the end.. *faints*

31st of December, DAY#3; MBC Gayo Daejun Show. I missed like about an hour of the show because I was out with my family, eating. I was like, NOOOOO but got all excited again when I saw CNBLUE on stage.. =)

CNBLUE

B1A4

They are sooo cute! I've seen their performance for Beautiful Target like.. thousand times?ㅋㅋ

MISS A

To be honest, I didn't really watch that much of MBC's show. I had something else in mind, kind of.. When I got home, all I saw was tweets from UKISS apologizing to KISSMEs heh.. I saw their performance after the show (it looks like UKISS messed up in the beginning, but it's not their fault..GOSH, to see Hoon's face and the others.. my heart broke..)and then I read a "fanaccount" that wittnessed of what had happened on the show. If you want to read it, click here. Despite of what happened, I'm really proud of them, who managed to make it through the performance like professionals.

Anyways... There are, of course, a lot more of awesome performances that I liked, but I can't post them all right? And also, I tried to vary my choices - I did my best! Wanted to post BEAST (for example) from all days but well yeah.. ㅋㅋ
Oh well, I think you all are tired of me now lol. Happy New Year to all of you, once again. Hope you can reach all your goals that you might have for this year! ^^

City Hunter

y0 br0s! ok jk heheh. As I promised (or did I?), Imma write little about what I thought of City Hunter that I finished yesterday. Yaksokhae is a yaksokhae raaaaaaight? kk. :D

Anyways, this time I'm not going to write what the storyline is about - even though this awesome drama really deserves it, but I'm a bit lazy right now HEH D: And besides, you can find the plot everywhere right? So, what did I think of City Hunter?

To be honest, I really didn't have any expectations for City Hunter, mostly because I didn't even know what the storyline was about lol.. I had only heard about the drama and that it seemed to be very popular. So I gave it a shot - and PLUS (bonus!), Lee Min Ho was one of the main casts kkk :$$
When started, I literally got STUCK in front of this drama - no I didn't finished this off in a day or two like HYUNG does sometimes hehe :O I watched like 4-5 episodes a day or so, because I can't sit in one position hours in a row, and I like to do other things than only sitting in front of a screen. Okay feels like I'm out of the subject right now. Back to track - I really really enjoyed watching this - Feels like I'm addicted to it or something like that right now. City Hunter was my first ACTION drama EVER!! And I'm glad it was, because now I'll give others (other actiondramas) a shot too ~

City Hunter is definately one of the best dramas I've ever watched. Don't think I was this obsessed in other dramas like I am now..? Not in a while anyway. Furthermore,  it included a lot of politics too, which I'm not fond of otherwise. The only thing I was disappointed with was the ending. I thought it really deserves a better one, but it doesn't really matter since the rest of it was FRIKKIN AMAZING! Loved the actors too of course. *__* Am I exaggerating? Have no idea.  kkk.

And oh, I've started watching Secret Garden too. Just the two episodes though but still! The only thing that was disturbing whilst watching it was that City Hunter filled my mind through the episodes lol :c Maybe it wasn't a good idea to start with a new one right after a splendid drama.. Hehe..

SO GOODBYE, DON'T CRY AND SMILE.. ~
Have a nice day!

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop

Yorobun annyeonghaseyo!
Sorry that I've been so inactive on the blog ^^' I just haven't had something to write about really.
Now I do though! I just finished the oh so talked about drama Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. I finished the drama in less than 2 days, which means I really got stuck immediately.

The drama was very good, great actors, nice humor, good drama etc so I really enjoyed it!
If I had to complain on one thing that would be that it's really similar to many other dramas. I get a strong feeling of like.. Secret Garden mixed with Boys Over Flowers or something. Of course this isn't bad because those are both great dramas, but many things in the drama I felt like "this is exacly like that drama" or "ahh I've seen this before..". For example, the fact that the main guy is a rich, spoiled dude who knows nothing about common peoples way of living (Secret Garden.. Boys Over Flowers..) and that the girl has some serious anger management problems (Boys Over Flowers..).
Lol! Sorry, I'm NOT bashing this drama! Not at all, because I really liked it! I can say that this is definitely NOT the first drama I see with plenty of clichés! I mean, we have the rich guys.. Or maybe the one who is leaving for another country to study or whatever in like, the last episode.. (oh this happens in A LOT of dramas..), or we have someone with an incurable disease..
But the main thing we learn from dramas: The kind guy never gets the girl! Okay? If you want the girl, be effin mean towards her. All the time.
Hahahha wow I'm going off topic here, but it's totally the truth. (Anyway I never like the good guys in dramas so this fits me well)

Oh about that; Of course in Flower Boy Ramyun Shop there is this guy who likes her and actually treats her well (who of course doesn't get her), and he is probably the first 'kind guy who doesn't get the girl'-guy who I liked. That's a BIG plus because I always get annoyed with them. Like Ji Hoo (Boys Over Flowes) or Shin Woo (You're Beautiful.. But I'm a big fan of Yong Hwa otherwise, it's just his character I didn't like in YB.). But in Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, I liked that guy actually! He was also funny and super random, so it wasn't this annoying serious kindness.. I dunno how to explain.

Okay, this was the worst entry ever but anyway.. :( I just wanted to share some thoughts.. Check out the drama!! It's 16 episodes long but it feels much shorter imo.
I could honestly talk about this drama forever because I have so much to say but I've really got to go now lol!

Bye!

Dream High

Just finished CITY HUNTER today!! SOO AWZUUM *__* But that is not what I am going to write about right now kkk. I'll write about it in my next post okay?

I recently (couple of weeks ago or so) watched Dream High with 2PM's Taecyeon (as Jin Gook) & Wooyoung (Jason) , Miss A's Suzy (as Go Hye Mi), T-ara's Eunjeung (Yoon Baek Hee), IU (Kim Pil Sook) and actor Kim Soo Hyun (Song Sam Dong) which is a serie of 16 episodes. The plot?

With Suzy playing the role as Go Hye Mi, her father runs away from some guys he owes money to and because of that, Hye Mi gives up her dream of becoming a classical star (?) and attends Kirin Art High School in order to pay for her father's debts. At first, she didn't pass the auditions (her friend Baek Hee did since they auditioned together and Hye Mi betrays her in addition to "save herself". The two of them ends up like enemies against each other in school) BUT she and two others (Jin Gook and Song Sam Dong) got chosen by the director as "special additions" (or something like that).. With one condition; Hye Mi has to find the other two and convince them to attend with her, or else she cannot attend school.

I didn't have any expectations of this at all at first, but I must say it is a good drama! Almost all the actors of 'Dream High' are originally singers/rookie actors but I think they did a good job! The storyline is great (some moments are really funny hahah), even though I didn't really liked how it ended heh. I was like.. "..what" or something like that lol. But it's worth a shot - so go see it if you haven't already! ;) Me myself is looking forward to Dream High 2, even though it is a "new" story with new casts. It's a bit sad that it won't be a continuing with the old casts in my opinion. But I'll looking forward too it anyways! :)

PS. I don't know why, but I think it's funny to say Song Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun's character in the drama). I've noticed that I say his name quite often lol.. I'm weird I know. DS.
